As we reach the threshold of a new year, it is both meaningful and necessary to pause and reflect on the journey we walked through 2025. This past year brought moments of joy and challenge, growth and learning, and countless opportunities to witness the Lord’s faithfulness. Whether through answered prayers, unexpected blessings, or the simple comfort of His presence, God has been with us every step of the way.
For many, 2025 was a year of renewal. Old wounds began to heal, new relationships blossomed, and personal goals were achieved. Even in times when plans didn’t go as expected, we found strength in faith, trusting that God was working all things for our good. Through the highs and lows, we learned to lean into His promises and rely on His grace.
Looking back, gratitude fills our hearts for the lessons learned and the milestones reached. We cherish the friendships and community that supported us, and we honor the quiet moments of reflection that brought clarity and peace. In our workplaces, homes, and ministries, God’s guidance was evident, showing us paths and opening doors that we hadn’t anticipated.
Each challenge we faced taught us resilience, patience, and deeper trust in the Lord. As Paul reminds us in Philippians 4:13, “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This truth was woven into the fabric of our year, fortifying us to face obstacles and embrace new opportunities.
As we look ahead to 2026, our hearts are filled with anticipation and hope. The new year stands before us like a blank canvas, ready to be painted with new experiences, growth, and divine appointments. We eagerly await to see how the Lord will lead us, believing that He has beautiful plans for each of us.
My family and I are excited to be here at Bethabara and can feel the love from each of you and the Peace of God in this place. We are grateful for the warm welcome and sense of belonging that fills this church, and we look forward to growing together in faith as we enter 2026.
Happy Birthday to all who celebrate in January! May your year be filled with blessings and joy.
