Every so often, a month gives us an “extra” Sunday—what we call a 5th Sunday. Many Baptist churches set this day aside for a special time of worship known as a 5th Sunday Singing.

Instead of our typical Sunday service, we gather with a focus on music, worship, and fellowship. It is a meaningful tradition in many Baptist congregations and continues to be a cherished part of church life.
